Jessica Martinez was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Dancing from a very young age her biggest inspiration was Michael Jackson. She loved to perform and won her first dance trophy at the age of 7. She always kept herself busy throughout school with dance team, cheerleading, drill team, and a folklore dance company on top of everything school requires. Jessica auditioned for a non-profit dance company "Future Shock Las Vegas" in her teens and began training in jazz funk, hip hop, popping, locking, etc. She was finally able to audition at the age of 18 for Culture Shock Las Vegas and was selected for the company. She trained for several years, taught at award-winning Bunker Dance Center, performed, traveled and decided on a whim in September 2009 she would move out to Los Angeles to give it a shot. She moved out January 2010 and immediately decided she loved it and wanted to stay to make her dreams come true. Working a day job, training, being sent out to auditions has kept her busy but she has been very blessed. She has been able to assist Sky Hoffman and Jesse Lee Santos( JLS Entertainment) and has worked with choreographers Rosero Mccoy, Napoleon and TabithaDumo, Tony Gonzalez, Kennis Marquis, Frank Gatson, and Jesse Lee Santos. She has danced for Beyonce, LMFAO, Fergie, David Guetta, Disney's Shake it Up, Mobbed, Paul Mitchell Industrial hair show, and an NBA Halftime Show. Jessica continues to dance, assist, and is inspired on a daily basis. She is determined to continue to make things happen and abides by the sayings ,"Everything happens for a reason", " That which does not kill you only makes you stronger", and "God knows what he is doing." She is very thankful for her supportive family, her friends, and the opportunities she has been blessed with thus far. Jessica lives to dance and perform and she will never forget what one of her mentors once told her, "Not all dancers are performers, if the audience can feel your energy, passion, and intent; that is when you know you put on a good show."
